Well howdy all.

I have finally saved up and gone andbought myself an iMac. I missed the Mac experience more than I thought I would when I sold my MBP 17" and bought a Dell PC.

So now I have purchased a 24" core2 duo 3.06 iMac with 4gb of ram and a 512 video card. Its a refurbished job as I couldn't justify the cost of a brand new one. They are shipping it out this week so I figure it should be here Wednesday

I have just been on line and bought a copy of Snow Leopard and a an Elegato digital tv tuner for it. Keep you informed and I'M BAAAACK!

To me it's horrible! I went to help a friend do some research a month or so ago and I could hardly stand her PC. The screen resolution alone about sent me into a conniption!

That's what I usually buy is Refurbs. Get a warrentee and all with them. SO why not. and the lower price is great. The spouses iMac was a refurb. HAL was a curbside catch.

Once you go Mac, You never go back!!!!!

I refer to it as clever purchasing. The wife was saying yes to a new 27" but the price was hard for me to justify. I started looking around and the refurb filled the bill nicely.

Its been that long since I had my MBP I'm having to learn Apple all over again. Installed Parallels 5 yesterday and put win 7 on. Works a treat. Now I have the best of both worlds.
